The Heir to the Orland throne is horribly ill and may not live long enough to take over as Queen. Saron, King of Orland will do whatever it takes to save the life of his one and only daughter; even travel the universe in search of a cure. When a small voice whispers there is hope, Saron does not hesitate to board his ship in search of the voice promising to restore life to his daughter, Saria.
When the ship crashes onto Alloria Moon home of the Elven world; Saron as well as his guards are very sceptical of this new species of people. He knew as soon as he laid eyes on Mellinia, Saria's life would be in good hands. Little did he know the side effects that would come with curing his little girl.
Mellinia warns Saron of the Auran's; creatures that strive on war and destruction; as they are off to destroy his world as they speak. The creatures are ruthless and are sure to not spare any from death. Saron must return home to Orland to save his wife Jacina and his kingdom from the Aurans. But when Mellinia has to uproot the Elven world and transport them to Orland in escape of the Aurans, Jacina can feel Mellinia's connection and attraction to Saron. Which in turn makes out for a pretty nasty argument between the King and his wife.
Both Saron and Mellinia know the only true peace will come when Orland and Alloria heirs unite in marriage. The Eye of Alloria must be protected at all costs. But when a former guard agrees to help the Aurans obtain the Eye, a most precious life will be lost.
This story was well written in sort of a futuristic sci-fi aspect. It was most enjoyable towards the middle when the events became more exciting. The book was also well illustrated by the author, I think that brings the story more to life. I would have liked to have a little more drama in the beginning of the story as it was kind of hard to get into. But once you got to the middle then it was a definite page turner. I award Ms. Lindley 3 hearts for her book The Eye Of Alloria.
