Firefly Island By Daniel Arenson
Torn from the only family she had ever known, six year old Aeolia had no idea the horrors her future beheld. Promising to keep her special skill secret were the last words she said to her brother Joren before the Ogre took her away; and made her his slave.
Aeolia knew that Joren would come for her when he became of age and so she idled her time as the years passed. Ten years later she knew Joren would be coming for her. The Ogre’s daughter confessed to seeing Joren in the town; but could Aeolia believe the maddened Ogress?
Talin a Forrestfellow just happened to be in the right place at the right time, or else Lale would have killed Aeolia for her secret skill that could cause a major rift in his life. Talin had his own issues with Lale, so there was no reserve in wanting to kill the man that murdered his entire family. He would not kill the Esiren Firechild, she was the one who could bring hope back to their world.
During Aeolia’s search for Joren and her escape from Lale, she fell madly in love with Talin. He seemed to be the man of her dreams. They would fight side by side for the rest of their lives, so they were wed with the assumption of having a happy ending.
Could Joren be so heartless as to kill his own flesh and blood sister? Was she really blood to Joren or had her entire up bringing been told with a small piece missing that could bring on the demise of The Stone King Sinther?
Truly Aeolia is faced with many dangers, death, betrayal and horror. She holds the key that will kill the evil Stone King; hopefully she will live long enough to use her key to unlock the freedom of Heland.
Mr. Arenson’s historical Sci-Fi story is compelling. I did not want this story or romance, war, and friendship to end. There is a little something for every reader in Firefly Island. I kept hoping for the best while reading this story and I can assure you I was not disappointed one bit by the story telling Mr. Arenson delivers. I award 5 hearts to Daniel Arenson’s story Firefly Island.

Faery Special Romances by Jacquie Rogers *print book*
Faery Special Romances by Jacquie Rogers
Princess Keely was the Faery cupid in my opinion. She was always matchmaking the two most incompatible people, but they always fell in love and had a happy Faery Tale ending.
This book Faery Special Romances is a collection of ten short romantic stories of the meddlings of a faery child growing into adulthood. Mixing and matching and just taking pure chance, Keely always succeeds in making the two lonesome souls fall head over heels in love with their mate.
My favorite story in this collection was Faeries Of The Caribbean. I love the pirate attitude of Captain Devlin Angel. Ms. Rogers has captured my heart with this story.
A serving wench knew not what would come of her Faery God Mother's dealings when she wished for the son of a viscount and to be able to hear the wind from the sea. Never in a million years would Myra even consider marrying a pirate. Myra and Captain Angel's first meeting was not a pleasant one as the constant rocking of the ship made Myra very ill. Vomiting on the Captain of a Pirate ship was not a good thing. But it was honestly funny. I loved the words Ms. Rogers supplied; " God 'a Mercy."
But with Keely doing all the matchmaking what happens when her turn comes around? Will she be able to keep her heart? Or will she fall head over wings in love?
The cover for this book is very deceiving, I thought I would be reading a fantasy tale of love and faery sprinkles; well it had those things but it also had some very hot sexual scenes that scorched the pages! Ms. Rogers has captured the Historical side of Faery Land with the language of the time periods, clothing, as well as the description of surroundings. I felt like I could see myself in this book. The characters are wonderful creatures that make you laugh out loud and wonder from story to story about what sort of trouble they're going to get into.
Ms. Rogers deserved all 5 hearts I am giving for her collection of short romances. I think every one needs a little Faery Dust to carry around in their pockets. You can find Jacquie on myspace at: www.myspace.com/jacquierogers

Love Under Suspicon by Sondra Quinn
Love Under Suspicion by Sondra Quinn
You know that old saying, "don't mix business with pleasure," well I don't think Sloane Jameson has ever heard that saying before. From the moment he laid eyes on Abby Tarleton's face he knew this woman was going to make his job very difficult. He needed to be focused on catching the criminal he was staking out not fantasizing about Abby while he used his hi-tech devices to listen to her while taking a shower.
"Sloane Jameson was a married man," Abby chastised herself many times over. How could she have feelings toward a man that belongs to someone else? He was the most handsome man she had ever seen, but she had felt sparks fly when he barely touched her shoulder. Abby had not been with a man since her ex-husband Joe, who is incarcerated for drug dealing; and who is also getting out early for good behavior.
Abby has no idea how much her life is going to be affected by Sloane Jameson as well as her ex-husband Joe. Sloane is trying to tie Abby to the drug chain all the while trying not to fall in love with her. Can he keep his promise to the force to bring the criminal in or will he do everything in his power to prove her innocence?
Ms. Quinn has an impeccable skill for writing stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I recommend you go out and pick this book up and read for yourself what a masterful writer Ms. Quinn truly is. I award her 4 hearts for her book Love Under Suspicion.

Expectations by Toni V. Lee *print book*
Expectations by Toni V. Lee
Daria Simpson has been praying for the Lord to send her a man for the longest time. All she wanted was a nice Christian man that she could share her life with. Well, the Lord was about to answer her prayers, she just didn't know it at first.
Michael Greer was on his way home from work when he discovered a familiar person following him. Not knowing what else to do he began banging on his neighbors door for entrance before the stalker caught up with him. Yes, he realized it was a little silly to be hiding from his ex-girlfriend but she was seriously psycho.
Shaniqua was Michael's ex and just couldn't cope with the fact that he dumped her. She even vandalized his SUV and made a scene in the grocery store. Michael was beginning to think she would never leave him alone. Little did he know with Shaniqua's antics that she would actually be doing him a favor. Michael renewed his relationship with God and found the woman he has been longing for.
But let me tell you, this story is not all sugar coated. There are trials and tribulations the couple must endure. Even a few monsters here and there; not fuzzy scary creatures, but the monsters of Lust.
The death of Daria's longtime friend Peaches, opens up a whole can of worms. And with nosy Aunts in the picture no amount of privacy is in this story. Can Daria and Michael work through all the trials and tribulations in their relationship? They have prayed and prayed but will God see to answer their prayers accordingly?
I was captivated by Ms. Lee's enchanting story about Christian relationships. It shows the true power of God's will and what prayer can accomplish. Just when you think you have hit rock bottom there is always one person you can talk to, you just need to step up and ask Him to listen to your prayers and wait for all things to be set right in your world. I am awarding Ms. Lee 5 hearts for this uplifting story. This is sure to bring many laughs and even a few tears to your eyes.

The Preacher's Daughter by Cheryl St. John *Print Book*
The Preacher's Daughter by Cheryl St. John
Lorabeth Holdridge starved for a life without censor or deprivation. She longed to experience freedom away from the strict confines of her home with Reverend Holdridge always stuffing the bible down her throat. She wanted freedom to go to go to the library to pick out more exciting reading material, take a walk at night, and if she ever had the chance she would love to take a trip on a train.
Benjamin Chaney was a veterinarian who led a horrible childhood. Even the dreams tragically awoke him from sleep every night. With a mother working as a prostitute, and no father in sight; Ben could only think he was anything but a decent man. Especially when he committed murder trying to save his eldest sister Ellie from being raped. All charges were dropped because the man was killed in self defense but still, the blood was on Ben's hands. He couldn't just forget about the past, Ben believed it molded him into the man he was today.
Eventually feelings began to blossom between Lorabeth and Benjamin. There was only one thing to do, get the Reverend to give his blessings on the marriage. The Reverend was a very strict man and Ben was quite sure he would refuse, to wed the couple. Could Ben win him over with the life he has made for himself? Would the truth behind Ben's past enough to make the Reverend refuse to give his daughter's hand?
I loved this story! I don't know how much more I can say. The book was a lengthy sort but the story line flowed effortlessly, and I finished it in two days. There were so many amusing parts that had me laughing out loud. The little girl Lillith's dialect was perfectly written. You will have to read to find out what a mammoth cloth is. I have to say this is my favorite Historical Western Romance so far. The sensory details of this story won my heart. I would catch myself holding my breath and smiling all throughout this book.I gladly award Ms. St. John 5 hearts for her remarkable tale of the old fashioned kind of love.

Finding Her Place by Midnyte Dupree *e-book*
Plagued by sensual dreams of two lovers, Cameron agreed with the Colonel that it was time for her to take a vacation from the stress of being a fighter in the war.
Cameron and her dear friend Simone decided to visit planet Andro for some R&R. Only they were attacked on the way. Their ship crashed onto a planet where ghosts could make you their mother, and two men could claim you as their mate at the same time.
Serene, the little ghost that felt Cameron was perfect to be her mother, sneakily had Cameron placed in Commander Mars Borella's bed. She would just sit aside and wait for the perfect time to fill Cameron with her spirit to be reborn.
Mars was told by King Cerebus, that he must take a mate. In order for the mating to be considered appropriate, another male had to be present and engage in the sexual acts. And who better than Noah, the planets doctor; Mars' best friend?
Little sparks from each man wisped across her skin when they touched her. This had not happened for many many years, so they knew they must claim Cameron before her space craft was repaired, and she left the planet without procreating.
Cameron had never felt so good at the touch of a man or should we say men until she met Noah and Mars. They made all her fantasies come true. She secretly wanted a family more than anything, and if the little spirit Serene had her way, Cameron would get just that.
What is to come of the steamy three-some when Cameron's space craft is repaired? Will she travel back to her home planet not knowing she is carrying a little part of Methuse home with her? Or will she stay and enjoy the raw sexual company of the Commander and the Doctor? Will she ever find her place in outer space?
Ms. Dupree has conjured up an exciting sci-fi tale of extreme sexual nature. This story could defiantly put a blush on your face at the images Ms. Dupree paints for you, using her extraordinary writing skills. I award Finding Her Place 5 brilliant hearts.

The Magic Spell by Paige Tyler *e-book*
Alanna Simms could never seem to find the Mr. Right everyone always talked about.Until she met Mijanou, the owner of a little magic shop called Charms. Alanna and her friends were out for a day of shopping when they saw the new little store and decided it would be fun to go in. Alanna was making fun of a love potion when Mijanou overheard and gave her exactly what she needed to get her heart's desire.
Halloween night was the night Alanna and her friends decided to cast the spell. Alanna wanted a handsome man that was rugged, good in bed and had a mind of his own. Jokingly she thought about a pirate right before she dropped in the last item to the spell.
After everyone left the party, Alanna found a man lying in the middle of her living room floor. What was this drunkard doing passed out on her floor. The closer she got she realized he was dressed as a pirate. This could not be what she thought it was, could it?
Upon waking Garren knew the little witch cast a spell on him. When she would not answer his questions he turned her over his knee and tried to spank the truth out of her. Alanna had no idea why this man was spanking her. She was dressed as a witch for Halloween, but this arrogant SOB would not listen and kept spanking her bare behind. Little did they know how much they would both come to enjoy the spankings.
Left in the hands of Majanou, Captain Garren Dandridge needed to return to the seventeenth century to his ship. But Alanna was beginning to wish he would reconsider and stay with her. They made love like never before, he was her hearts desire. She just couldn't tell him that.
When Majanou comes up with the spell to send Garren home, can they both accept that he needs to go back. Or will he stay in this century to be with the one woman that boils his blood and has stolen his heart?
Ms. Tyler is a masterful storyteller. There were not too many characters in this story so it was easy to focus on the situations at hand and each character individually. I fell in love with Alanna and Garren. For those that don't believe in magic need to read this story The Magic Spell. If love can bare the test of time then come on and lets turn back the clock. The intimate scenes in this story were HOT, it goes to show there may be a time difference but lovemaking only gets better with age.
I am giving Ms. Tyler and her Pirate 5 Savvy hearts! You can find Paige Tyler at: www.myspace.com/paigetylertheauthor or at www.paigetylertheauthor.com She's a great author of romantic spanking stories!

My Angel by Denise Skelton *Print book*
My Angel by Denise Skelton
Simone Porter has tried to live up to her mother's expectations all of her life. Listening to the constant battering of her mother saying she needed to lose weight, change her job, and find a husband. Simone even agreed to date a man her mother hand picked for her.
Alan was an ok guy Simone thought but she just couldn't fall in love with him. He began showing his possessive side when Simone went to the hospital to visit a man she knew nothing about.
Driving home from Sunday dinner at the Porter's, Simone witnesses a horrendous act. The vehicle in front of her was ran off the road on purpose with the intent to kill. Matthew Turner would have died if she didn't run down to the wreckage and keep him conscious by talking while the ambulance arrived.
Matthew had hit rock bottom, his wife just left him for another man. The divorce was final but he could not help still loving Wendy. He gave her everything she could ever dream of, just for her to stomp on his heart by having an affair.
Matt remembered Simone from the wreck, he called her his angel; she is the reason he came back from the coma he was in for four months.Matt heard her voice and knew it was not his time to go. He had to meet her, little did he know his broken heart would mend instantly after meeting this beautiful woman that saved his life.
Ah but in this story its not that easy falling in love. When you have two parents that are racist even though they may not admit it aloud. Simone with her honey colored skin and Matt with his cream colored, it seemed like the whole world wanted to keep them apart because of their race. Matt's father Marty hated Simone from the moment he saw her at the hospital checking on Matt, he swore she only wanted something. But Rebecca accepted her with open arms continuously thanking her for saving her son's life.
Debra Porter, Simone's mother whoo goodness she was a force that could not be reckoned with. I believe she would have disowned Simone if it was not for her husband Joe being the grounded one. Joe took a liking to Matt from the very beginning, knowing that it would throw Debra into a fit of rage.
What happens next is mind blowing! There is a twist to this story that I thought could happen, then waited and waited to see if it would, then what I wanted to happen didn't. BUT something much more interesting did.
What happens with Simone and Matt? Can Simone still stay with Alan knowing that she doesn't love him, just to appease her mother? Or what can Matt do about Wendy that keeps showing up wanting to talk? There are so many people in Simone and Matthew's lives, will they ever be able to part the waters and make it to each other's embrace? You must pick this story up to find out.
Ms. Skelton has a way with words in this story, who knew you could use the word didgaeat in scrabble? I laughed all through this story with the playful joking back and forth between the characters. I also felt their emotions when crap hit the fan! This is a great story about two people that are in love but don't want to admit it, but when they do its like an old time family feud. I was skeptical in the beginning because there were so many people fighting for attention but around the third chapter I was hooked. I had to read every chance I had. Ms. Skelton is awarded 5 tender loving hearts from me!

Jade by Mary Suzeanne * E-book*
Love, Lies, Cheating, Divorce, is there any hope for love after that? Jade is unsure of her life when she finds out her husband has been living a double life.
Jade Roberts had just landed the Advertising contract she had been waiting on. Now she could finally make that down payment on a new home. Things seemed to be looking up, her husband Todd recently started back to work as a lawyer and now she got a pretty good sized bonus.
Until Jade and her friend Becky; who also worked for Johnson Advertising were going out to lunch to celebrate. Louiggi's restaurant was packed to the max but Becky with all her charm tried to see if there was an open table.
Jade could feel the heated stare coming from the man with stunning green eyes. He was what dreams are made of. He looked hungry for her, too bad she was married. When Jade averted her gaze from the man, she saw Carla, Todd's secretary all cuddled up to Todd leaning in for a passionate kiss. After confronting Todd and actually catching he and Carla almost naked in his office, and him not denying there were more women, Jade filed for divorce.
Happenstance, Jade met Chris Madison and was offered a modeling position. Jade thought this would be a great way to start out fresh. Little did she know the man with stunning green eyes would be waiting for her at the airport.
Riley knew Jade was the one from the moment he saw her. Thank goodness his sister-in-law was good at playing match maker. It didn't take long for Riley to fall in love with Jade and despite all the times Todd has tried to intervene to get Jade back, he continued to fall more in love with her.
Riley was a tricky man, how far would he go to make sure that he and Jade were together forever? Does Jade survive the kidnapping? And most of all who is the kidnapper?
I was compelled by Ms. Suzeanne's story Jade. It is an e-book masterfully written. I was a part of the story, I actually gasped and held my hand to my heart when Jade was kidnapped. That proves Ms. Suzeanne is an impeccable writer, if she can draw you into the book and you can feel what the characters feel, then she has done her job as an author. I am giving Jade 5 fresh hearts for Jade taking the leap to get a fresh start.

Enslaved by Elaine Haygood
Enslaved by Elaine Haygood
Z'Mad had held his Reign as All Father for 800 years and lived for nearly 1500 years. For a Thiran that is quite a long life. He begins to fall ill and leaves his place in the Counsel to his daughter Z'Han. She does not want to be left to succeed him but has no choice as she is an only child.
Z' Han is faced with so many miserable circumstances within her short time of taking the reigns after the death of her father. Friends turn on friends and enemies sit back and wait for their turn to swoop in and claim that which is not rightfully theirs.
Pa'ar is the Love god, but he should be known as the War or Demon God. He has caused nothing but death. All to get what he wants. He even stooped so low as to poison the All-Father. Let's not forget recruiting women that he made feel like he loved them to do his dirty work as well.
In the end there is so much death that Z'Han does not know what to do. Her head says to give up but her heart says that there is still hope. After finding out that Pa'ar is the case of all the hurt she will make sure she runs the people of which she is All-Mother to, the way she should have from the start. Instead of letting each one take matters into their own hands.
Ms. Haygood has written a story that to me is futuristic but is also like days that have long passed. It was a great idea to include a pronunciation key as I would be lost without it. I think the story was very hard to get a grip on. There were too many characters and they all seemed to fight to be one of the main ones. I would like for there to be more focus on a few characters and more detail. I could see the events but I couldn't place myself in the story. Ms. Haygood has a very good mind to get this all on paper, maybe a history of the people would help a little better in the beginning as well. I am giving Enslaved 3 hearts. I am not saying this is a horrible read mind you, I guess it was just not for me but you may very well love the story if you pick it up.

When Vane escapes the confines of the basement once again, Daniel has decided he's had enough. There has to be a cure and he'll do whatever it takes to cure Vance, he vows never to kill another wolf.
Emilie Swanson is minding her own business, trying to send the Chester Creek demons back to hell that just happen to have a portal in her Magic shop floor. If trying to make it in a small town that is against magic and being a witch isn't enough. Then there is handsome Mr. Daniel Garrison who called a town meeting to get her business closed down because of the last incident they had with a witch.
The last thing she ever expected was for Daniel to come inside her shop let alone ask for help curing Vance. Emilie knows there is a cure but it is a little more difficult than expected, when Vance's fiance Bethany shows up and breaks the ritual. She had no idea Vance was a werewolf...or did she?
Choosing to help the Garrison brothers, Emilie is in for the ride of her life. What do you do when the wolf within escapes and wants a mate of his own to claim? In Emilie's case you surrender to the wolf and experience the hottest time of your life.
The Demon of Pelican Bluff: The last story in this erotic collection.
Cade Morrison, Forest Ranger at Pelican Bluff is elected to give Cryptozoologist Dr. Laurel Jensen the information on the demon sitings and to show her where said sighting took place. He knew from the moment he laid eyes Laurel that she could make him do whatever she wanted against his control. She seemed to be all business looking for the cryptid that half a dozen teenagers and a few hikers have claimed to see.
Laurel knew the winged beast was close she could sense him, feel him touching her in her dreams. It is sick to want a creature the way that she does, she wants him with feral passion, she wants him to claim her as her mate. He is ugly yet he is beautiful but either way he wants Laurel and now that she is so close he will have her.
Laurel and Cade get caught up in feelings neither expected and ended up having the most amazing sex. But being with just Cade does not sate her hunger for the beast, she goes in search of the demon and when she finds him. He takes her to his lair and stakes his claim on her as his mate.
Something seemed off to Laurel, why did the beast seem so familiar? There was definatly something but she couldn't put her finger on it until their union. It is shocking to discover the beast's secret.
Ms. Colgan is great at capturing the Erotic Fiction genre. I was on the edge of my seat in some places in each story. I couldn't put this book down, my eyes were glued to the pages anxiously awaiting the outcome. The lovemaking scenes were portrayed perfectly, I suggest we all go on a werewolf and demon hunt ladies! Ms. Colgan earns 4 pure silver hearts for her Erotic collection Unleashed.

The Bride Wore Black by Shaunta Montgomery *ebook*
Black flowers, black table cloths, black wedding cake, oh and lets not forget a black wedding dress. Ok so only the dress was black but if you were planning your recently ex-husband and his new fiance's wedding, could you be mature about it or ruin the whole thing for revenge?
After ten years of marriage Anise's husband Brendon calls it quits for another woman, Allison.
Two days after the divorce papers were signed, Brendon and Allison announce their engagement. Talk about a low blow!
Anise had to get back on her feet so she convinced her friends to write up very convincing recommendations for the "Wedding Consultant" job she was applying for. Never had she planned a wedding in her life besides her own. Sure she dabbled here and there with friends but she didn't plan 15 weddings in one month. Yeah that is what her friends bragged about in their recommendations. So she got the job at Tiffany Weddings, not just an entry level job mind you the lead consultant.
Let's just say that most of the other consultants welcomed her with open arms. Besides the dreaded Donna who was so jealous of Anise getting the position she thought was rightfully hers.
Donna dumps a file on Anise's desk; lo and behold it belongs to Brendon Meyers and Allison Hildegrant. What a detestable woman Donna was. She tries to sabotage Anise anytime she can get a chance, hoping to get her fired.
Dealing with Bridezilla's not taking no for an answer, she meets Alex the owner of North Point. Evelyn Chase did not know the meaning of the word, NO. So Anise had to convince Alex to let her have the wedding at North Point. Alex never backed down but he had another property Evelyn could check out.
From that day Anise and Alex began meeting and before you know it he practically lived at her house. I guess that Brendon thought she would be single for the rest of her life, until he showed up drunk one night at her home and found Alex there with her. Jealously tore right through Brendon.
So how did the wedding for her ex-husband and his new fiance turn out? Did Anise do the right thing and make it beautiful or did she wreak havoc on the most important day of a woman's life? Is Alex the man that she could spend the rest of her life with? I guess you will just have to read to find out.
Shaunta Montgomery's e-book was bewitching. I was captivated from the start. This story has romance, jealousy, love, and friendship. It is a lovely trip through one woman's mind to either be completely professional or to be vindictive. I give Ms. Montgomery 4 black hearts for her E-book The Bride Wore Black.

Old School Romance by Conrad V. Sucatre
Conrad V. Sucatre has delved back into the past when Romance was not considered smut.
This book is more of a reference manual to me. Mr. Sucatre talks about the difference between romance novels back in the thirties and compares them to the novels of today.
In the thirties and forties men who read Romance magazines were not considered sissies but today how many men do you see reading a book with a lovely woman(completely dressed) in a field of flowers with a man embracing her in a passionate kiss on the cover? I guarantee the numbers are much smaller now days.
Romance novels used to be about passion and less about detail. You don't read about gore and torture in novels written in that time period. You also hear that it is scandalous to sleep with a man before you are married, but in today's culture most people pay no mind to hopping in the sack with a man they just met hours before. ( I am not judging anyone)
For me, I felt like this book Old School Romance was written in an old fashioned sort of way. I didn't get pulled in right from the beginning, but the information was very informative. I can tell Mr. Sucatre spent many many hours researching the past Romance genre and comparing it to today's Authors and their meaning of Romance.
I am going to give Mr. Sucatre 3 hearts. Only because I couldn't seem to get pulled into this book. I felt like I was reading something that is meant for the older generation(I do not mean for this to sound offensive, I am not calling anyone old). But if you are looking for a book that is great research material for past Romances. Then you should pick this up.

Hell's Belles by Jackie Kessler
Jezebel knew she was in deep trouble. She knew far more than she should have; so she escaped to the mortal world. With the Creatures of Hell hot on her tail, she only had one place she could go, and she hated going to see the little witch.
Caitlin didn't know how much this was really going to cost her in the long run, but she agreed to help Jezebel hide from the Demons that wanted to take her back to Hell. With a little cauldron magic and some milk, POOF, Jezebel was mortal. So long as she didn't use her magic, if she did then the spell would be broken and the Furies would be unleashed!Thank God or King Lucifer, I'll let you decide that one; her friend Megeara was one of the dreaded Furies.
Her first day as a Mortal, she meets Paul. He seems familiar to her but she can not put her finger on why. He is the most amazing man and she could be falling for him. But can she escape the Demons of Hell long enough to be with him?
After Caitlin realizes Jezebel has almost bled her credit cards and bank account dry, she closed all of the accounts. Leaving Jezebel with no money and no place to live. Jezebel knew she had to get a job. And what would be better than working at Belle's Strip Club? What more could a Lust Demon wish for? Showing off her goods and making men want her is what Lust demons thrived on, oh and the Sex that was all that seemed to flitter through her mind when Paul was around. He would be delicious.
"When Lust becomes love, passion burns all the brighter" -Hells Belles
I think Jackie Kessler is enthralling with her writing. The very first chapter sucked me right into the depths of Hell and I could not escape until the book came to its very twisted end. I never expected an ending like that. Could King Lucifer save Jezebel even though he is no longer King?
I am giving Jackie and Hell's Belles 5 smoldering hearts because this is a battle with Hell that you need to read! The sex scenes in this book are sure to set your blood on fire!

Milagro De Los Santos fell in love with a very skilled plastic surgeon. Little did she know he had a blood disorder that some people considered vampirism. She accepted Oswald for who he was and wanted to be with him always.
In the back of her mind she felt like his family was always keeping secrets from her. Oswald's mother made it a point to let Milagro know how unhappy it made her that the two of them were together.
Spying on Winnie's baby's naming ceremony, Milagro discovered something was very wrong. What language was Mr. Egghead speaking? It sounded like a car crash. Just as she was about to burst in and interrupt the ceremony, Ian Ducharme covered her mouth and filled her in on what was supposed to happen.
Ian was off limits because she was in love with Oswald. But that didn't stop Ian from trying to charm Milagro every time he got the chance. Or from sending her little gifts she kept hidden in the closet from Oswald knowing it would highly perturb him.
Milagro desperately needed a break from the madness so she took a road trip; and ran into an old friend from F.U. College. Turned out he was looking for a screen play writer, and that was right up Milaro's alley. Until she met Tom and had been forced into being his assistant. He even swam naked in her pool!
There is so much drama in this story but it is wickedly, side splitting hilarious! I laughed out loud so many times while reading this book. It does have its serious parts but the way Marta refers to Willem cracked me up ever time!
You ssshould check out thisss book (you'll understand the extra s's if you do) I am sure it will be worth your while, especially if you're looking for a laugh.
I give Marta 5 giggling hearts for Midnight Brunch. There were times my husband thought I was crazy because I genuinely laughed at what Milagro got herself into.

Conquest by Cornelia Amiri
Forbidden to marry the servant girl Sancha, Diego vowed to his mother never to marry another because he wanted her. His mother may have considered a mere milkmaid in Spain beneath them but Diego could not deny his heart.
He decided to take a trip aboard a boat to clear his mind; only to discover Sancha was aboard with him. After seeing her, he realized the feelings for her never died. Diego slept next to her just to make sure no other man would sneak in and take any liberties with Sancha.
Sancha truly loved him ever since she was nine years old. But could never do anything because his mother forbade it with all of her being. She wanted nothing more than to marry Diego, but she was not sure that he wanted her.
Does this story have a happy ending? In the year 1539 AD everything sounded so simple, no worries about cars, electricity, bills, or beds. Just pull up a bear skin and cuddle with your lover; could it get any more romantic than that? There is just something ruggedly sexy about making love in an animal skin tent in the rain.
I think this tale is masterfully written. I can get the image of Diego and Sancha, the look of love shining through thier eyes. I give Cornelia 4 hearts for her old time romance. You can find Cornelia at: www.celticromancequeen.com or on myspace at: www.myspace.com/celticromancequeen.

Dancing With Dragonflies by Jack Francis Gorfien
Summary from the book:
Dancing with Dragonflies is a fable written for children and adults of all ages. It may be read out loud in less than 20 minutes, making it a good length for a bedtime story. The tale is about a princess and a knight named Lirona and Zohar. They meet while on separate journeys and continue on different paths in search of treasure. With the help of a little magic supplied by a mysterious old woman called Adamina, they find themselves where they first met, and continue their journey together to discover something more valuable than any precious gem. Among other things, he book encourages the ability to see opportunity, and the courage to act upon it. It also advocates work, balance, cooperation, perseverance, and self-determination. The words and whimsical illustrations work together to form a contemporary trip into the past and future. --Jack Francis Gorfien
That is exactly how the book goes. It is a very child friendly book, the words are not too hard for a smaller child to understand. The colorful pages are bright and sunny. My son is too young to understand but he loved trying to grab the images on the page because they are very appealing to the eye.
This is such a cute story of always looking for something but never finding it, until a little old woman stuck her two sense in! This is a very good read for bedtime stories or just for fun.
I give Jack Francis Gorfien 5 hearts for this cute little story about a princess and a knight.
