Private Nation by N.A. Diaman *print book*

From the moment Bud Lite and Benz laid eyes on each other, sexual attraction arced between the two men. Benz decided to hop on the back of Bud's motorcycle and travel to a place where they felt they could belong and be together.

On their trip of self discovery they meet many people and share their bodies with other men along the way. Neither man was jealous as they knew who belonged to whom, they just relished in the enjoyment fulfilled by the sexual release.

Benz had to leave his sister to be with Bud, and Bud was an orphan so when he finally met his birth father at age 38 he felt complete. Benz was also reunited with his sister, Mercedes and all seemed right with the world. Although Benz had changed his name to Altair and Bud was now known as Hadar, they were both still very much in love, and that love grew more and more every day.

Mr. Diaman pens a novel about sexual discovery as well as self discovery through the eyes of two young men looking for more in the world. This novel was one big orgy in a way, because the two main characters remained faithful to one another but also shared their bodies with other men. The conversations again did not have quotation marks so it was hard to follow, but the story line was enjoyable. 3.5 Hearts

The City by N.A. Diaman *print book*

Theo Demetrios recalls the story of his life, love and career in San Fransisco. He first fell in love with a man named Sebastian. Sebastian decided to follow his music career over seas and promised to still keep in touch with Theo. As time went by the two fell out of touch and eventually out of love.

Theo then moved on to a friend he had known for a while, Conrad. Conrad truly was the one man that Theo could love. They complimented each other well and had amazing sex together. Conrad was with Theo through all the untimely deaths of their friends and continued to be his faithfully.

This story is told in Theo's point of view but it seemed like it was written from a day to day basis and then all of the sudden years had passed by. I got confused all through this story because there were no quotations telling me when someone was talking or when the conversation ended. Also there are many words to describe the male sex instrument; but one word was used over and over again. Variety would have been nice. I think this novel was an OK read but there was really nothing major that happened that kept me wanting to read this novel.

I think with a little more excitement and better punctuation this novel would have been a very enjoyable read. N.A. Diaman has written many novels and I am sure they get better as each one goes along. The story was not all bad, Mr. Daiman tells of the romance and love shared between two men; he made their love beautiful. 3 Hearts

The Wild, Wild Mess: Atlanta by Jayha Leigh *e-book*

Atlanta Jackson is co-owner of the most popular sports bar in town, Evil Twins. She is a sports fan through and through except for when it comes to baseball. A woman who takes no crap from anyone and does not need to rely on a man to support her, Atlanta is about to meet a man who will love each and every thing about her. Even her argumentative temper.

Steele Magnussen was wealthy and arrogant along with having a berserker temper, he was not a man you wanted on your bad side. The day he literally bumped into Atlanta he knew she was just as temperamental as he was. He also knew that this is the woman he could not picture his life without. But when she is told the truth about his heritage and about being a berserker it is of no matter to her.

Atlanta fears that Steele will lose business contacts and suffer socially because he is a white man cavorting with a black woman. Steele does not see anything wrong with their relationship, and he begins to show Atlanta how much he loves her, by making love to her any where he could.

The humorous banter between the two throughout this novella had me laughing out loud. The sexual electricity between the characters practically spouted sparks from the pages. Ms. Leigh is an exceptional writer of romance with a touch of erotica in all the right places. I enjoyed the detail and the over all story very much. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Leigh's work in the future. 5 Hearts

Marks power is growing to unmeasurable heights and Travis fears his brother will have no use for him as he is not nearly as strong as his brother. When Mark bestows his gift to Travis, Ryan will truly suffer.

Rowan Mcbride is captivating and knows just what a reader wants. I felt my heart thumping as I held my breath waiting to find out what was going to happen next. Just Wait is a short, erotic twincest story unlike any other; among many things it is unforgettable. 5 Hearts

The Mortal Vampire by EW Bradfute *print book*

Detective Stephens worked for the Lead Police Department, and right now he was working on the case of someone murdering well dressed business men. The murders were done in the fashion of a vampire draining the blood from the victims through two small puncture holes in the neck. Something about this case seemed wrong from the very beginning and it would take a master detective and his partner to solve this mystery.

There was no evidence left on the scenes until one day when The Mortal Vampire,as the killer was called didn't completely take care of business; he left a victim alive. Detective Stephens had all the lead he needed to bring Officer C.J. down for all the murders. Only Officer C.J. saw what was coming and planned a crafty escape shattering Stephens knee in the process.

Upon autopsy it was discovered the victims were tranquilized before their bodies were drained. But there was still the unanswered question...where is the blood? A shocking revelation says that Officer C.J. is not the murder; then who is?

Mr. Bradfute is a mysterious storyteller that captured my attention from the start. The ending left me wanting more, because I honestly still have no idea who the Mortal Vampire truly is! The Mortal Vampire is the first book in a Suspense/Thriller series that I would highly recommend and will definitely be reading as the stories come out. Mr. Bradfute is a new name to the literary world that I know we will be hearing more from in the future! 5 Hearts

Mile High To Heaven by Angela Guillaume *e-book*

From the moment Olivia had first heard Cole's voice she was entranced. She knew a man like him would want nothing to do with an average build woman like her. So all she could do was fantasize and take care of her needs while picturing Cole in her mind. With Olivia's sisters wedding quickly approaching, she received a phone call from Cole that made her heart race and her girlie parts tingle.

Cole only caught a glimpse of Olivia at his brother's engagement party; he knew from that moment on she would be his. Arranging a bed and breakfast for the two with adjoining rooms, Cole secretly hoped they would only be needing the one room and sharing the same bed. He had to sate his sexual hunger for Olivia and make her a permanent part of his life.

Mile High To Heaven is an erotic story through and through. Sure there is romance but just a touch as the story is filled with sexual activity almost from the get-go. Ms. Guillaume pens every woman's fantasy come true; meeting the man you think you can not have, then making love every chance you get.

I enjoyed reading Mile High To Heaven, it was short, sexual and to the point. In some parts I wished to hear more romance between the two, because from as soon as they got to the B&B it seemed he just said, "Come Here," and then they got it on. I am a romantic at heart but, this is a very spicy read that I would recommend to get your juices flowin'. 4.5 Hearts

The Great American White Woman by Shawn J. Hobson *print book*

Niece Thompson grew up in a life of misery and forced Christianity. Her mother Sylvia continued to beat her until she was seventeen years old, she also beat into her subconscious that all white women were evil and out to steal all the black men. Sylvia's antics worsened after her favorite daughter, Nyla was killed by a white woman, resulting in driving away Niece's father and eventually Niece as well.

Hope Andersen was the answer to all of Nieces prayers. He was always there for her when she needed him. But he had a craving for the flesh of a white woman, and knowing Niece's petrification still did not stop him from engaging sexually with Niece's enemy. He cheated on Niece a number of times and the night he was caught entertaining himself infront of the T.V. would forever change the lives of Niece as well as himself.

The secrets buried long ago in the past are about to resurface only to drag down everyone even remotely involved. The story is mainly about Niece and Hope but there is one more main character that will do anything to see that Hope belongs her and only her! Murder, lies and deceit are woven into a spider web of misery, but who is the spider inflicting all the pain?

Mr. Hobson writes the story of discrimination and hate with a talented hand. The story has something going on all of the time continually capturing your interest. I was confused toward the middle where it seemed too many characters were jumping into the pages and it was sort of distracting me from the main plot of the story. Toward the end it all started making sense and I could see the important part played by each character.

Mr. Hobson's book The Great American White Woman is a story that some may love and others will hate. I think Mr. Hobson has a great mind to be able to pen a tale such as this. I thought this to be a mysterious suspenseful read and look forward to reading more from a very talented author. 4 Hearts

Lover Unbound by J.R. Ward *print book*

Vishous never knew love, or the act of making love for that matter. Not knowing his mother and despising his father, The Bloodletter; all V. had was the Brotherhood. The only way he would take a female was forcefully and that always included bondage and hurt of some type. The females were just a piece of equipment to him, a way to relieve the stresses of the Brotherhood as well as a form of sustenance when he needed to feed. Vishous' visions had dried up a while ago, he had no idea what or whom for that matter, was about to come his way and show him what true love really was.

Dr. Jane Whitcomb knew she had to save the life of the extraordinarily large male lying on the operating table suffering from a gun shout wound in the chest. When she performed open heart surgery she was taken aback at what beat within the mans chest; she knew from that moment he was not a normal man. But what was he? She should be frightened but there was something about him that just seemed right.

The power of the Scribe Virgin could not change the fate of Vishous' first and only true love. V. would do everything in his power to save his beloved; even if it meant bringing her back from the dead.

J.R. Ward has done it again! She has managed to write a perfect mind-blowing story that keeps the reader entranced. Some parts of this book made my blood run cold as the possibility of a happy ending was not an option, and I will admit I was in tears in various parts throughout Lover Unbound. I have never been let down by one of Ms. Ward's books and this one is no exception. Ms. Ward is a phenomenal writer and I guarantee Lover Unbound will leave you wanting more. I look forward to the next book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, Phury's story. 5 Hearts

This Historical Romance, Sinful Between The Sheets is the second novel in Barbara Pierce's outstanding series. The characters and storyline are so strong this could be wonderful stand-alone book. I on the other hand want to read each and every novel in the series. I loved the way Ms. Pierce kept me enthralled from the very beginning. From the Prologue I was hooked. I did not want to put this book down; I even took it to the bedroom reading late into the night.

Ms. Pierce has a knack for compiling action, suspense and romance together to form a mind-blowing and addictive read. I am sure we will be hearing much more from this fabulous author in the future. 5 Hearts!!

Vampire Trinity by Trista Bane *e-book*

Nerissa wanted nothing more in life than to be normal human. Only the fates had her destiny heading in a whole other direction, one that Nerissa would try all her life to deny. Nerissa had no idea that from the moment she was born, Summanus chose her to be his midnight bride; the only thing that can save her is to form a Vampire Trinity. That means she will finally have to accept the life she has been trying so hard to deny.

Sean knew Nerissa's secret succubus life she tried keeping hidden, he had secrets of his own. He wanted Nerissa for the past six months but his past would not repeat itself; he had to put his feelings aside no matter how badly he wanted her. Succubi lived only for sex and once she was done with him and moved on to another it would break Sean's heart.

Gregory knew Nerissa was starving herself because she wanted to make love to Sean and restore her strength. But why would she not take the sustenance Gregory so willingly offered?
Gregory loved her just as much if not more than Sean Jackson.

Nerissa was so blinded with wanting to be normal, she was so starved and weak that she could not fight against Summanus' attack. Now that she was branded with the bite of death, only an erotic union of love times three could be strong enough to put an end to the ancient vampire for good.

Trista Bane is an author that I am looking forward to reading more of in the future. The detail and story line were masterfully written, making it impossible to stop reading until I was finished. I enjoyed the secondary characters and how they all tied into the main characters very much, it brought more depth into the book. The Erotic love scenes were hot and oh so naughty, this is definitely a scorching read! 5 Hearts

A Valentine In July by J.T. Shultz *e-book*

Private Investigator Tia O' Shea has been plagued for the last three months by a mysteriously sexy man that comes to her in dreams. He seems so real and the passion they share is electric. How can a man that is not truly real leave his mark on her skin? When she voices her dreams to a friend he threatens to commit Tia if she does not stop this nonsense about falling in love with a dream man.

Valentino De Marcus can not explain the how's or whys of his dreams of this mystery woman. All he knows is he must find her to sate his sexual hunger once and for all outside of the dream world. The night he saved Tia from murderer, Prescott Jones, Val's life was definitely about to change. Love hit them both full force backed by erotic urges only one another could satisfy.

The O' Shea family ironically, are slayers and the De Marcus family are Vampires; it does not look good for this couple. But when Tia is sent to destroy the Jones twins, the love of her life almost loses his life saving her. Tia only knows one thing to do to keep her man with her for all eternity; she gives her life to him because living is just not worth it without the one you love.

A Valentine In July is an exciting erotic novella that any vampire lover would enjoy. I loved the magnetism from the very beginning of the characters. The story had an interesting plot and the erotic scenes did not over-power the story at all.

Ms. Shultz thrilled and excited me with her phenomenal story of vampire romance/erotica. This is the perfect read to get your heart pumping. 5 Hearts

The Dirty Parts Of The Bible by Sammy Conner *print book*

The year is 1936, Tobias Henry is 19 and lives in Remus, Michigan. Being the son of the Reverend, Tobias was expected to be perfect. Nobody knew about the dirty comics, or the picture of a naked French lady buried inside a tree in the backyard. Tobias' only wish was to have sex with a beautiful woman before the rapture.

The night Reverend Henry had a relapse in his faith and had a little too much to drink, he drove his car right into the side of the church. To make things worse, a bird made a toilet out of the Reverends eyes blinding him. The family faced eviction, but the Reverend had a secret stash that not even his wife knew about.

Tobias was to travel to Texas and find the old family well, inside that well would be all the money saved from the Reverends youth singing group. Tobias meets the best people he would ever know on this journey; a hobo named Craw that knew a cure for just about anything, an evil Indian Spirit out to kill him, and a cursed girl named Sarah.

Tobias had no idea how much life experience his father would give him on the trip to Texas. He learned about hard work, friends, family and love. With still many questions and misconceptions about the Bible Tobias learns its not so bad being a Baptist.

Mr. Conner is a writing genious. Colorful language and characters alike explode from the pages of this book. Action packed as well as full of laughes makes this novel a pure joy to read. This novel is written by a masterful hand with a gift for storytelling. There are some questions about the bible, language that may not be acceptable for younger readers, and dirty thoughts from a teenage mind. But I'll be danged it was one of the most enjoying reads for me! 5 Hearts

Walk Backwards In Your Mind by Tracy Mellor *print book*

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tracy Mellor is the author of Walk Backwards In Your Mind. This is her work of poetry that in my opinion is based on events throughout her life. Although I can not say that the book is based on her life for certain, only the author knows that one for sure.

Tracy has written a collection of poetry and compiled it all together in a short easy to read book. I enjoyed each poem and in some way I found a way to connect with almost every one of them. A few of my favorites were, Whisper, What's Best For You, and Its Not There. Ironically enough, those were most of the ones about love.

Tracy has a knack for spilling her feelings all across the pages. Even though these poems are not the rhyming kind, you feel closer to Ms. Mellor once you have turned the very last page. Its almost as though you've discovered a long lost friend. If you want to step into the life of the emerald eyed Celtic then get yourself a copy of Walk Backwards In Your Mind. 4 Hearts

Heirs Of The New Earth: The Old Star Saga Concludes by David Lee Summers *print book*

In the beginning there were anomalies known as Clusters that considered themselves the intelligence, but felt they were lacking somehow so they merged with the Titans also known as the appendages to experience a new way of living. One day the appendages were torn from the Clusters leaving them feeling empty once again, they began a new search for a species that could intensify the emotions they craved; humans.

John Mark Ellis and his crew aboard the Nicholas Sanson set out to discover the home of the Clusters and stop the new breed of humans, the Heirs of the new Earth from taking over. After the doomsday phenomenon leaving most of Earth's population dead or comatose it would seem the Clusters have won. The humans left were instructed by the Clusters to rebuild and make Earth a whole new planet.

John Mark Ellis and his team must do all in their power to find a way to destroy the seductive hold the Cluster has on the new "heirs of the Earth." Does he succeed in saving what is left of the human population or has the Cluster been deemed indestructible leaving Earth in dangerous hands?

Mr. Summers' futuristic science fiction book, Heirs Of The New Earth is mind blowing. The attention to detail makes you feel one with the characters, it seems you experience the events firsthand. This book is a part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone, I however wish I could have read the series to heighten the experience a little more.

Mr. Summers has a very vivid imagination, he is a wonderful storyteller. The prologue was a little hard to follow for me but once I started reading further into the story it all became clear. There are many characters in this book, but Mr. Summers has made each one so unique it is impossible to forget them. Heirs Of The New Earth is a book Sci-fi lovers will enjoy and love. 4 Hearts

The Chronos Project: A Race Against Time by Marc Anthony Rios *print book* Reviewed for Blu Phier Publishing

The year is 2099 and while technology continues to grow and life is being lived on other planets, there is no War. Terrorists still exist and have begun to wreak havoc on the solar system. The Temporal Enforcement Division(TED) has devised a plan to genetically enhance four individuals with already special abilities.

The four new bloods Jennifer Rose was to recruit excelled in controlling their abilities and had no signs of being power hungry. The team was made up of Logan Summers who had hyperactive senses, Raven Alexandria the clairvoyant, Demona Kenmoor the psychic and psionic, and the most dangerous of all, Orion Pax he is resistant to physical injury.

After undergoing all the procedures to become Temporal Enforcement Cops (TEC) the group was sent on their first mission. The mission rattled even Orion at times. The bomb Blackthorne let loose was teleported through a wormhole and the group must find it before the bomb detinates. The only problem is trying to find which time era the bomb is in. The technology may be advanced but not so much that information is instantaneous; the wait could very well kill.
The team also has to be on watch for Blackthorne's genetically enhanced soldiers, they are more animal than man. One of Blackthorne's soldiers embodies each of the TEC's abilities as well as few more deadly weapons.

The Chronos Project is a sci-fi book that lovers of the genre will certainly enjoy. I thought the prologue as well as various parts of the book were too scientific for me to understand. Towards the middle, the action really started picking up and kept me turning the pages.

Mr. Rios is well ahead of his time. He is an excellent writer of futuristic fiction and I am sure one day a movie will be made out of this book. Well detailed characters and events ensures the reader a wild ride through the solar system. Mr. Rios is someone I am sure we will be reading more about in the future. 4 Hearts

In The Blood: A vampire love story by Rick R. Reed *print book*

Elise Groneman, artist by day, streetwalker or better known as whore by night. Giving herself to numerous amounts of men just to pay the rent, Elise had no idea how drastically her life was about to change the night she met Terence. Who once was an artist painting the dark, deathly images to rid herself of the nightmares of filthy men looming above her; she finds herself in a nightmare all her own.

Terence, Maria, and Edward three of the very few vampires left in population, not only drain their victims of blood, but devour the meaty flesh as cannibals seeking all the sustenance their cold unfeeling bodies could hold. Kidnapping whores and even dining on the homeless or society's outcasts, left plenty of blood for the taking; but all three thought it was much more intimate to share a meal.

Terence wants Elise for her blood, and can not stand the fact that Maria has won Elise's heart. He knew Maria wanted to offer Elise the dark gift and betray him, he had to stop it no matter what. Edward knew what lie ahead if Elise did accept Maria's offer, he did not want her to make the same mistake he did some sixty years ago. So Edward makes a special visit in attempts to get Elise to flee and hide. As she is preparing to leave she hears the rumble of a Harley and knew she was going to be in trouble.

In The Blood is a romantic vampire love story with bits and pieces of erotica and menage a trois.
Mr. Reed put a new spin on his vampires that I found it very intriguing. They could smoke marijuana and not get high, but it sharpened their senses; and they usually had no interest in making more of their own kind to over take the human population.

Mr. Reed is a skilled artist of words, he makes the story vividly come to life. Clearly being able to picture the events and characters, made this novel a pleasure to read.Mr. Reed's writing style is fantastic, and fast paced; the story ends before you know it leaving you wanting more. A little bit of horror, romance and erotica with a dark little twist make up, In The Blood. If you enjoy vampires, then I would highly recommend this novel. 5 Hearts
