Heaven is a very tasteful gentleman’s club, but it is now under surveillance. Jake aka Jacqueline is what you would call the boss; she wears the most high priced clothing and drives an amazing car. She has no idea that Heaven, the club is being watched and she is also pretty much blinded by what is going on behind the scenes.
Dan Peters goes undercover as a barman; only he does not expect to be caught up in feelings for Jake. Everyone needs to watch their back because you never know who will turn on you. Dan decides he needs to tell Jack the truth, now how do you think the daughter of a very powerful man is going to take the news?
A raid, a stripper ends up missing, a whole lot of back-stabbing, double-crossing, and twisted events makes Heaven a spectacular read. This book is based in a gentleman’s club so there will be some major details… that you won’t want to miss.
Alistair Canlin has really outdone himself with this novel, my only issue was that there were a few words that I did not understand the meaning of. Canlin is Scottish so his word usage is a bit different from ours, but I still could get the point of what he was trying to say. Heaven is a pretty thick book to read, but once you start time will fly by and you will be reading the last page before you know it. 4.5 Hearts
