Mallory Towneson Haulm is a man obsessed with the finer things in life. Expensive clothes, top of the line vehicles, and he is always used to having his own way; especially when it came to women. In one night it was nothing for Mallory to have 4 women, one right after the other.

The Haulm family has hidden secrets, Mallory has most of his childhood memories hidden away, Brielle seems to have the answers and connection that Mallory needs, but there is only room for one love in his life. Will this conductor of souls be able to fulfill his destiny? It is written in the ancient scrolls that death will be the end of the world; only one man can perform the task of ridding the world of such evil; but is he strong enough to complete this mission?

TL James’ first book in the MPIRE trilogy, In Search of the Lost is an amazing story about the battle between good and evil as well as battles of the heart. Ms. James pens an addictive tale that will keep you turning the pages. As the story unfolds before the reader, you will be shocked as more secrets are revealed. This book is a winner, and Ms. James definitely delivers with her attention to detail. 5 Stars

The Cutler Brothers Book #1: Cade by Samantha Danvers (Paige Tyler)

Cade Cutler is a professional and determined to make a favorable impression in his new role as a U.S. Marshal. He’s been assigned a case involving a woman in the Witness Security Program who believes her identity as been compromised. While the assignment itself seems routine, the woman turns out to be impossible.

Riley Barnett has built a reputation for herself. Overreacting is her forte, or so everyone in the Program believes. The possibility of mob hits aside, Riley doesn’t want to relocate, again. She insists Cade be proactive and do something about her mystery stalker.

When circumstances force them into a safe house tension wins out over reason. As they bond over pizza and poker, the feuding duo start to heat things up in a whole different way. Then the thing that nobody expects to happen actually happens and Cade and Riley are left scrambling for cover.

What can I say? If spankings turn you on this may be the story for you but if they aren’t your thing you may want to give this story a pass.

Celestial Creed’s Revelation: The Clash at Creeden saga Cypher 8 Volume One by The Sunz of the Zodiac

The Clash at Creeden saga, written and illustrated by The Sunz of the Zodiac, Ace of Spades, Scorpius Blood, and Capricornus Woody is an epic futuristic fantasy that is more for the younger generation of Science Fiction lovers.

I say this because there is a dialect between the brothers and those they meet, which consists of “slang”. I think this is a novel that most 16-30 year olds would enjoy. Now to tell you a little bit about Clash at Creeden.

The ancient Prophecy of Nostradamus has already been set in motion; the only question is who will be the Phenix? There are three brothers, Princes none the less, that have the ability to fulfill this prophecy, but only one will become the Phenix. Which one will of the three will it be? Two have risen from the dead and together they must work with each other to save the souls of Novus Atlantis.

Along the long journey, the brothers, come in contact with many different races or creatures if you will…vampiricles, werewolves, half ape creatures and many more. This story has a lot going on. There are also music references for the rock lovers out there, Trajan carries an illusion guitar as his weapon of choice, but be wary of the flute.

Voices and images drift in and out of the to be, Phenix’s mind and when he comes face to face with the woman of his dreams he is at a loss for words. But there is not much time to make acquaintances again, there is a battle brewing and it must be taken care of!

The Sunz of the Zodiac are three great and talented minds that have come together to pen a really different sci-fi tale. The letter s is mostly replaced by the letter z, and a lot of slang such as dude, cuz, and hommie are spliced into the conversations. This book is written in play/theater format in my opinion. While it was interesting to read, I did get hung up on the z’s and the introduction was confusing for me. I think I would like see this on a stage, maybe it would be a sold out performance. 3.5 Hearts

Power of Pussy by Sandy Patsy

Sandy Patsy’s book, Power of Pussy is about her getting the feelings for her on again off again boyfriend, Peter onto the paper, in which helps clear up the confusion of men.

Why do men think they have all of the power, when it is we women who have what they crave and lust after? The black widow and female praying mantis, have a great lifestyle, find a mate, intercourse, and then have them for dinner…literally! Ah, but if it were only that easy.

Through Sandy’s eyes and life experiences, at the age of 60 she considers herself an expert, on the Power of Pussy. Saved notes, feelings, true events, and ramblings make up the interior of this book.

Ms. Patsy uses colorful language, and pulls no stops when it comes to showing her true feelings for Peter or actually men in general. Parts of the Power of Pussy were laugh out loud funny while others were informative and full of emotion. Step into a sneak peak of Sandy’s love life by reading her book. 4 Hearts

Raindrops by Besa Kosova

Besa Kosova’s collection of poetry is raw emotion displayed within these pages for the world to see.

Beaten, broken, and dealing with a man addicted to drugs, Besa has seen many hard times in her life. A child stands by hating the father for abusing his Mommy, but nothing can be done. Everything is dark and dreary as the rain falls.

Eventually the rain stops, bringing the sunshine into Ms. Kosova’s life. She is the newly budded flower, ready to start a new life and grow.

Raindrops is an extremely touching book of poetry. I could relate to some of her feelings of loneliness, unappreciativeness, and hurt; while others I could not imagine living through. Besa is a very strong woman and amazing poet. 5 Hearts

The Erotic Writings of Unobtainable by Marilyn Campiz

The Erotic Writings of Unobtainable by Marilyn Campiz is a collection of erotic and sensual poetry. One poem unparticular stands out to me; Distractions Happen.

Distractions Happen explains in full detail how erotic being interrupted from work can be. From crawling beneath his desk, to his release, this was a really hot piece of work.

Marilyn Campiz not only tells of erotic moments, but need, yearning, want, and in Torn she describes her despair of being alone, after her lover has moved on.

Unobtainable is a book that most women will love and can relate to. Ms. Campiz takes you on a journey, so be prepared for a hot and steamy ride. 4 Hearts

Beckoned by Ronald Scala

The ones beckoned by a demon become tainted with bloodlust, destined to kill friends, lovers, children, and strangers, satisfying the demon’s taste for blood until the Beckoned One is discovered and killed.

So it has been since the beginning.

Nick Konasik is a self-proclaimed drunk who failed graduate school and his marriage. He returns to Clarion, the home of his alma mater, where he met his ex-wife, Margot. While there, he has dark visions that leave him with a sense of dread.

Margot also has visions, leading to the distance in their relationship and ultimately their divorce. Margot is obsessed with a barn near Clarion containing ritualistic animal sacrifices.

Margot, an anthropologist, learns of the Native American demon, the Ouintan-Mantua, that beckons tribe members to turn against their families and ultimately against society. She feels that both she and Nick encountered the demon in the barn, and have been called to Clarion to do its business, to kill or be killed.

When Margot asks Nick to attend Clarion’s Autumn Leaf Festival, Nick feels he’s been beckoned to discover something horrible, something evil.

Once you get past Scala’s overkill explanations of anthropology and historical significance, the story of love destroyed by evil is poignant and all too real to anyone who wonders “what might’ve been.” Nick is flawed, but he is human. His love for his ex-wife and his daughter is tangible throughout, despite the evil threatening to consume his family. Scala did his homework and developed a believable tale of evil and redemption. I give this novel 4 horrified hearts.

Snuff by Eric Enck and Adam Huber *print book*

Holy Mercy Sakes!! Those were my very first words after reading the last sentense of the novel Snuff while my mouth gaped open! Unfreaking believable! Never have I been this shocked in all of my reading life! I guess it was inevitable though.

Jack and Mikey were a team now, nothing really mattered besides making DVD’s and the large amounts of cash brought in. Hardcore pornography and BDSM were frills and lace compared to the horrible mutilation during sex that Mikey and Jack starred in. Mikey was usually the main “abuser” but in some instances Jack was featured in the films as well.

Jack used to be in the film industry, but now he was all washed up. During the novel he reflects on his childhood, the abuse, sexual encounters, and the murders after sexual mutilation. Jack was always sick minded, demented even, he couldn’t get it up unless blood and pain were involved.

The videos were made according to the “customers” specifications and one customer would get EXACTLY what he requested, the girl not only looked like his daughter, it was her! The DVD that he paid 30,000 for cost him his daughter’s life, as well as the life of his wife once she discovered the movie carelessly left out by her husband. Bill Corwin would make “John” pay…a sale gone wrong could be the last film…….
(Nope I am not going to reveal anymore, I have written this review as cleanly as possible as there are YA readers that stop by my blog from time to time, but let me tell you, the scenes described in this book are beyond graphic, blood, sexual molestation, rape, and sickness are displayed on each and every page! This is an amazing horror novel, but if you’re faint of heart I don’t know if you could physically read this novel, it was very hard for me.)

OH MY MY, putting Eric Enck and Adam Huber together can sure gross a girl out! Not that they’re unattractive men mind you, but because their literary work is grotesque in all the right places. They bring a new type of horror to the table and believe me, you will not want to have a snack while reading this book, NO WAY!

Mr. Enck and Mr. Huber make a great team, blending blood, gore, a great horror story, and a totally SHOCKING ending together along with their minds to create Snuff. I think the horror industry should give these guys a medal!
